Star Trek and Transfromers: Revenge of the Fallen headline this week's Video Store update, backed by a mob of blood-drenched killers -- Hitman, the unrated version of Ichi the Killer, and those little orphans in Monster's Kinderheim 511. Sony has lofty goals for this fiscal year. Banking on the recent success of the PS3 Slim and the round of PS3 price cuts, Sony executive vice president Kaz Hirai has revealed that they plan to hit 13 million PS3s sold worldwide in FY09. They also expect the PlayStation Network to pull in revenues roughly thrice the profits they made last year. More after the jump.

Electronic Arts will be shifting to a higher gear this December with the release of the first downloadable add-on pack for Need for Speed: Shift's PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. Even better, it's gonna be free.

No More Heroes is making the jump to the PS3 and Xbox 360. We already saw some shots of the new versions in the Famitsu scan we posted a couple of days ago but those were tiny. Crytek has just teamed up with universities yet again for their technology, CryENGINE 3. Their goal is simple: get them hooked.

It's not as much of a shocker as, say, Cactuar being already taken, but it's just as much of a news. ESRB has finally come out with their rating for Final Fantasy XIII (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360). Like with the other iterations of the franchise, XIII has been tagged with a T for Teen rating.

The PS3-exclusive beta for DICE's Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (game also on Xbox 360 and PC) is already available for download, so get it while it's still hot. There's a problem with the server, though, but they're working on it quick.
