The CSIs on TV may have super ultra high-tech analysis equipment at the beck and call (can't blame them really since they have to wrap the case up in 60 minutes including commercials), but in the real world, crime scene investigators are turning to videogame technology for help.

PS3 gamers had quite a bit to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Sony whipped out some Black Friday deals, Killzone 2 players are getting a Double XP weekend from Guerrilla, and Naughty Dog's giving away a free Uncharted 2 map. Speaking of Uncharted, series fans also got assurance from Nate Drake himself that the series will continue on for a third outing.

The latest update for Naughty Dog's blockbuster video game hit, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, has been released. New maps are all yours, and most importantly, you're getting them free. It's a perfect Thanksgiving gift as Naught Dog says "thanks" to all their fans who support the game.

A new game's set to roll out from the garage of Activision, as this job listing indicates. A mere few days after the publisher unveiled the new Sledgehammer Games, they have already gone to work looking for "top talent" for a "soon to be announced project."

Earlier this month, Codemasters released the first DLC pack for Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. Those who can't get enough of the game can rest assured. The second DLC pack for PS3 and Xbox 360 is already in development.

Damn. It seems Nintendo really can do no wrong in Japan when it comes to their DS handhelds. The latest DS iteration, the DSi LL, debuted at the top of Media Create's Japanese hardware charts by selling almost three times the number of units each of the rest of the top five consoles did.
