Playstation 3 looks like it has more detail than the 360 version if you look at it closely. The trees look a little more blurrier on 360 than on Playstation 3 if you are looking at it closely.

for some reason the 360 version have a little bit less audience..they could have done it if they wanted to look at dead rising theres like a thousand zombies in the screen with no slow down i dont know why they did that...check out the tony hawk comparison i bet all u ps3 fanboys shutup now.

The PS3 version has more people in the crowds, the 360 has better lighting and shadowing. It's too early to see which console has better graphics, not to mention Tiger Woods wasn't exactly the best choice.

And as for the number of people in the crowd, well it differs depending on game mode and progress. There are thousands on screen later in the Tiger Challenges.

the ps3 version had more realistic lighting, you can see the shine of the sun setting in the background while the 260 version was just normal whitish blue skies, ps3 version has more people in the crowd, more detailed textures and colour depth, and you can see the wrinkles more clearly and more detailed in the ps3 version.
however you can only notice these tiny differences if u look very closely and if you have experience in game design or animation, or a really good eye :P

First off just the fact they are comparing ports isn't really a great way to do it on this early generation of PS3 sports games. It's not like EA re-did everything for the PS3 they just touched up the games (some less than others). So to judge which is better based on a comparison like this is just dumb.

Honestly the two comparison videos they have mean absolutely nothing. For Tiger Woods, the PS3 version slightly looks better but honestly the video is too low quality to tell. For Tony Hawk, the 360 version seems to have somewhat better lighting and textures than the PS3. To whoever said that these launch titles have had as much time to be produced as Gears of War, I really don't know where you have been. The 360 has been out for about a year and the game was in development even before that. Most of these publishers got their PS3 devkits around E3 this year, so before you speak, make sure you have factual information. Aside from that, these games are as mentioned ports, and lets be realistic aside from working with the 360 for over a year already these publishers are using the 360 version as the basis for their PS3 version. If you are going to compare PS3 & 360 games, why don't you guys compare both systems launch games. Unfortunately for Sony the 360 has been out for a year in advance and most people including fanboys will just revel in the chance to compare current 360 games with PS3 launch titles which just isn't fair on their half. And more or less everyone who looks at these vids are biased, so if you prefer the PS3 your gonna automatically think it looks better whether it does or doesn't and same goes for if you prefer the 360. And if you wanna compare PS3 launch titles to current 360 titles let's take Gears of War and Resistence. By all means GOW is a remarkable games, the visuals are astounding, gameplay is awesome and it does what microsoft wants, makes me want to buy a 360. On the other hand we have Resistence, for a launch title it looks almost as good but just doesn't have that touch quite right yet, and is just as fun with just as much options as GOW for offline and online play. GOW got a 9.4 and Resistence 9.1. Last time I checked thats about .3 points off, which isn't much. So before half of you fanboys out there get a heart attack, just chill, it's video games, they're awesome indeed, but each console has their strong points and weaknesses, as well as their own arsenal of unique and good games (as well as crappy ones) The 360 will always have the advantage being one year the PS3's senior aside from having most of it's features implemented in it's previous console, so give the competition a break, they're taking their new system in a different approach from their last which isn't easy to do. And if the PS3 games can come that close already to a 360 game, then maybe you'll just have to wait and see what comes of it in the years to come!

gears of war uses epics unreal engine it will look great on any machine including a pc so dont go saying that gears of war graphics came from xbox 360. epic has a great game engine. look at unreal tournament 2007 screens made exclusively for ps3. I guarentee that if the maker of that Tiger Woods video said "Oops, sorry guys, I got the videos all mixed up", guys here claiming the PS3 looks better would then be saying "Oh, er, now that I look at it more closely, the OTHER video does look a bit better afterall".
You can't tell anything about the colour depth because it depends on how the video was captured and processed. Download videos for any game online and sometimes they will look more colourful than the original, other times they will look more washed out. And you can't say much about the texture quality or sharpness because the resolution is too low for such a comparison.
If these videos were not labelled, no-one here would be able to look at them and say for sure which console they were on. So all you can say about that comparison video is that at that resolution, there's nothing to seperate the two versions, and I expect the same is true about the actual game itself, for numerous reasons.
