Given our recent report on the Japanese title Bacterius for the PlayStation Network and the emergence of multiplayer-only games for the PSN, it seems that Sony is making good on its promise to churn out content for its Network and its big black PlayStation 3 console.

In an effort to increase its library of playable Action arcade games, Sony Online Entertainment is releasing a game based on the Midway classic, Joust. For those not old enough to remember, it's a video game that features knights jousting whilst mounted on birds. In the trailer, we see the many ways you can get rid of the enemy knights on buzzards. So far, the game doesn't have a specific release date, but at least it was given a TBA 2007, which means anytime within the next seven months.
