Activision - Image 1Activision reveals that in the period ended March 31, 2007, the company has had yet another successful fiscal cycle with its figures reaching higher levels than ever before.

"Fiscal 2007 net revenues are expected to be the highest in Activision’s history," says Activision chairman and CEO Robert Kotick. He credits the financial growth to franchises such as Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Call of Duty, Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero.

Kotick added "we ended fiscal 2007 as the number two U.S. third-party publisher, grew our market share in the U.S. and had two of the top 10 best selling U.S. titles, according to The NPD Group."

Activision has experienced annual growth for 15 straight years, this time jumping from US$ 1.47 billion to US$ 1.51 billion in net revenues. The company indicated that sales in the last quarter had a huge surge, ushering in US$ 313 million from retails. Activision is now completing a review of its financial status in the past 13 years to be submitted before it pays its taxes. The deadline to do so has reportedly been extended to exceed the May 9 deadline.
