From the engine that allowed Beats of Rage (BOR) to debut on the PC comes the open source version for multiple platforms. Homebrew coder SamuraiX released OpenBOR version 2.1933 for the PSP the day before yesterday, along with Linux (PC, PS3), GamePark, GP2X, DreamCast, Xbox, and Windows versions as well. It seems the PS3's homebrew iPlayer has caught the attention of the BBC. Anthony Rose, the BBC's head of digital media technology, has said that an official iPlayer release for the Sony console will be out "in due course". More in the full article.

Homebrew developer DickyDick1969 is definitely back, and he's got a nice little package for everyone.
