Assassin's Creed logo - Image 1After topping the UK charts, it's no surprise that Ubisoft's opus Assassin's Creed (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) is touted to be the title that will top game rentals and sales charts. LOVEFiLM, a major DVD rental service in Europe, expressed its confidence that Assassin's Creed will do extremely well this holiday season. According to Chris Bird, LOVEFiLMS' head of marketing services:

Assassins Creed will definitely be up there; our audience have already heavily pre-ordered this and the sure scale of the experience is very cinematic, so will prove popular amongst film fans.

Other titles that are also expected to do well in revenues are Kane and Lynch (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) by Eidos Interactive, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) by Activision, Electronic Art's FIFA 08 (PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, DS, PSP, Wii), and Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, and PC), all of which (with the exception of Kane and Lynch) made into the top ten spots in the recent UK charts.
