Battlefield: Bad Company teaser video

If you're interested in war games where you get to fight for honor and glory (and all those high-falluting words associated with heroism) and play the messianic role of saving your homeland, Battlefield: Bad Company isn't the game for you. Why? 'Coz you'll be fighting for wealth and vengeance, that's why.

So if you're looking for a fresh change from all the other war-themed FPS games out there, the comically twisted DICE-developed game from EA is right on the money. Don't get us wrong, this game packs in all the warfare action and bloodshed you'd want, but viewed from a different angle. Along with the 90% destructible game environments and the new Ironsight aiming mode, the juxtaposition of dark humor and a serious war situation makes Bad Company all the more interesting.

Powered by DICE's Frostbite Engine, there's no officially confirmed release date yet (for either the PS3 or Xbox360 version) for this baby but if the rumored August 1 release date holds true, we can only expect a better end product (and more sneak peeks) to come our way soon. Kudos to Hummer for the heads up!

All I know is that I downloaded this trailer from xbox live marketplace therefore this is the 360 version especially since it showed the xbox 360 logo at the end of the trailer and this game looks better than any game I have ever seen on consoles that includes gears of war and resistance: fall of sony this game is completely next gen the hi res textures, hi dynamic range and crisps 3d sounds effects and destructable environments, this game clearly puts an end to the debate of wether or not dvd 9 can support a next generation game. Sony is finished, yea I said it.

dude your a dumbass, ps3 just came out, and the xbox 360 has been out over a year, so the ps3 hasnt even begun to shine in all its glory, everybody assumes xbox 360 is better when we've pretty much seen its full potential, but the ps3 on the other hand, has just come out and no where near its full potential, its only a matter of time now.
