BioShock - Image 1

A new update about BioShock for the PlayStation 3 has hit the web and it suggests an exact release date for the 2K Games title. According to a report, the celebrated FPS will debut on November 4th, 2008.

Website PSU cited an anonymous source for this buzz. It's important, however, to note that this differs significantly from an earlier announcement from Take-Two that they'll be releasing BioShock sometime in October.

Did the game's publishers nudge the release date a little bit to capitalize on the holiday sales period? We'll have to dig a little deeper on that one.

BioShock for the PS3 is set to have new features which will make it distinct from its PC and Xbox 360 counterparts. It's even been rumored to have PlayStation Home support judging from its box art found in retailer Game's site.
