According to a press release from T2, BioShock for the PlayStation 3 will arrive this October, along with new features and content. No word on what exactly the new features and content are, but hopefully they'll be enough to compensate for the long wait. T2's new studio, 2K Marin, is the branch handling the game's translation into the Sony console. |

I got a 360 befor I got a PS3, but never got around to getting this game for the 360. I am glad I wiated. With the added content coming out, I will be getting this game for the PS3.

The extra content is most likely just all the downloadable content that the 360 had.....worth $10.......so even if you paid for that on the 360 it'd still be cheaper right now....and you could play it right now...
Still, good for the people who have no 360, and it will be interesting if the PS3 pulls it off as well, or perhaps better (which I doubt as the water effects use pixel shaders and it's a fact that 360 has almost double the pixel shader pipelines as PS3)

i never looked into it becouse its non multiplayer modes and only single player,and im all about multiplayer.
dont really know if ill buy the game.. but who knows... i love 2k games.

I have high hopes for bioshock ps3. I really hope the ps3 version is as solid and bug free as the 360 one. this is one of my worrys. stability issues between console versions arent unheard of :/

idk. I tried out the PC demo for this game and it was kinda weird in my opinion. Don't really like the old guns and power-up stuff. The graphics on the water was crazy but I don't know about gameplay.

I am hoping that the transition between 360 to PS3 doesn't ruin it. Hopefully it looks just as good and has extra content; cause if its just going to have the content and look *****ty, no thank you.
I wonder if the hardcore fan boys of the 360 are pissed and those of the PS3 think this is a decisive blow.

I have the game for PC and it's incredible. Very, very fun.
It really sucked me into the storyline and gameplay and so I always have to make sure i have plenty of hours of free time before i start playing :P
I hope the version on PS3 (I haven't checked out the 360 version) can pull me into it the same way (maybe on a huge HDTV?) and also, still feel like a great, original game even though it'll already have been out for over a year.
Anyhow, I can't wait for the release!

I had it on the 360. Loved it. Did you ever play the game with the frame rate unlocked? It looked amazing as long as there wasn't too much action going on. I hope the frame rate is better on the PS3 version w/o slowing down. Way excited!
