28 Weeks Later was good, yes? I enjoyed it. That reunion scene between husband and wife inside the lab was to die for. Really. So, if you like that kind of action, then you'd be thrilled to know that the director for that film, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, is in talks to get the film rolling for BioShock the movie, Variety reports.

Trusty ol' Twitter, giving us news where we'd otherwise have none. If you've been following the Prison Break star, Wentworth Miller, then you might already know by now that the guy just dropped a hint about his new project. In one word: BioShock. You have to hand it to the guy, he sure knows how to tease.

Joystiq is reporting that there will be a BioShock novel, thanks to the collaboration of Take-Two Interactive and sci-fi/ fantaasy publisher Tor. According to their scoop, the novel will consist of 400 pages, and will come out in both hard and softcovers.

Answering an earnings call, GameStop exec David W. Carlson reveals the release of four major titles by October and November. Noting that GameStop is a US retailer, the only conclusion we can make out of the info is that the release margins are for the US, and we can only speculate on how it's gonna be for other regions. Looks like the BioShock movie is turning out to be a totally high-budget one - or over-the-budget, as it turns out. Universal Pictures has stepped on the brakes on the production of the said movie adaptation of Take-Two Interactive's best-selling game, as the company tries to reach an agreement with director Gore Verbinski for a more reasonable budget.

Feral Interactive's booth at the CES, on Friday, sported a curious choice of casual wear for its exhibitors: Big Daddy at the back of their shirts. Now, it's one thing to have one of the staff wearing a specific game shirt; he could be a fan who unfortunately didn't pick up his clothes from the laundry and so had to go with what was the only thing left in his closet. But to have the whole lot of them wearing the same shirt? Or maybe... BioShock (Xbox 360, PS3) is coming to the Mac.

If you're a PlayStation 3 owner and you haven't gotten BioShock yet, now might just be the right time. Costco is selling PS3 copies of BioShock at US$ 27.99 a pop (plus a US$ 3 shipping and handling fee).

It looks like the patch for the PlayStation 3 version of BioShock has been released sooner than expected. The patch, which is supposed to go live on November 20, has already been spotted and downloaded by a few PS3 gamers. You can check out a list of fixes included in this patch in the full article.
