Borderlands - Image 1

Borderlands
(PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) kinda dropped out of the radar after we all heard about the "OMG 650,000 guns in-game!" thing from Gearbox president Randy Pitchford. Those waiting for the game can rest assured, though, as it is apparently still a go for release this year.

According to a brief report from CVG, a rep from publisher 2K Games has told them that Borderlands is "still on the radar" and is keeping true to its 2009 release target. The rep didn't give out a more specific date than "later this year", but at least it hasn't been relegated to the vaporware bin yet.
