The debut teaser for Treyarch's upcoming entry in the Call of Duty series has finally gone live. It's a pretty short video (clocking in at a mere 22 seconds) made up purely of what seem to be cutscenes, but it should nevertheless be enough to whet the appetites of die hard CoD fans. You can check it out below.
Call of Duty 5: World at War, currently being developed by Treyarch, is slated for a November 2008 release by Activision. The game will be available for PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, and PC. |

It looked like CoD2.... fine!! It looked like CoD3. The only thing that stood out was a soldier climbing a coconut tree, and that wasn't even all that. Flamethrower, eh, like that's gonna help you online.

thats what made me go WTF
cod4 was the best game ever because it brought the graphics animation and story telling into the actual gameplay
im fed up with cutscenes, it seems devs focus more on them than the actual gameplay
and they always con ya during those kind of ads

Why does everyone waste their time talking about how bad the game "will suck" when they could be riding COD4's nuts? I mean, yeah, it's a good game, but wow. Why keep talking about something that you don't like? When it comes out, just don't buy it. It's that simple. Complaining about it won't make them turn around and instantly make it more modern or anything.

Complete copy of the CoD4 trailer. all they needed was the music, especially when they are all screaming AMBUSH! that reminded me of the nuke being jetisoned in CoD4 trailer. Because of the background sounds i guess...
But i am rather excited for this. It may be made by Treyarch but they did ACE CoD2.
CoD2 was a masterpiece. It was perfectly built for the systems, and looked beautiful. CoD3 was you run of the mill shooter, CoD4 (infinity ward) was AMAZING! and CoD5 is moving away from the traditional D-Day invasion and going into the pacific theater. beautiful. Cannot wait.
