Screenshot of Java game Bunny Blast - Image 1Those of you who played the Java game Bunny Blast should be more than familiar with this homebrew mod for the PlayStation 3. Entitled "Chromium Wars", the game exchanges some of its predecessor's fuzzier sprites with more hardcore ones.

Developed by ALIENWARE, the game takes on a more Sci-Fi aspect in this latest homebrew game for the Sony next-gen console. While the game is still quite simple in nature, it does exhibit some potential of delivering some interesting homebrew concepts on the PS3.

To install Chromium Wars, just copy the AVCHD folder to the root of a memory stick or USB flash drive, then select the device under the Video option on the XMB. The game should appear under the AVCHD label found there, and can easily be loaded after selecting it.

We'll be interested in seeing more homebrew projects like this pop up on the console in the future, so keep an eye on this space on more homebrew updates as soon as we get them. You can also leave your comments regarding the game on the QJ.NET forums, accessible through the link we've provided below.
