If you don't know Def Leppard, you have to bust your rockstar chops. One of the top-selling rock bands of the 1980s, Def Leppard has just confirmed that they will appear in Guitar Hero IV .

Is that really Guitar Hero IV? Let's get it straight from Def Leppard lead guitarist Phil Collen:  "We do! It's on Guitar Hero IV. We just had to clear a few things like publishing, record company, and all that stuff. But we're going to have, like, three songs, I think, on Guitar Hero IV."

Those three songs would be Photograph, Animal, and Rock of Ages. But is Guitar Hero IV already in the works? Since the songs are a bundle of three, it could be possible that this is just a DLC for Activision's Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii).
