If Grand Theft Auto IV can fit on one disc, surely this game can as well.
Sony's guidelines state the developer of an exclusive game must state that blu ray storage was necessary. They've done it with every other exclusive game before, even though it was obvious you don't need a 25gb disc for a game like Motorstorm or Resistance.
What else is new?

enumerating launch games and company marketing propagandas (which everybody does) is a poor effort MCS... fact of the matter is EVERYTHING has it's limitation... and the gaming world is not an idustry in regression but one that is taking big leaps forward...
and with that in mind, limitations taken into consideration, guess who will get left behind and deemed inadequate?
you don't have to be a genius to realize that, you just need common sense... and inspite of what people say about you i know you have that...
all i can is being PS3 owners we've got a lot to look forward to with regards to game advancements... a lot more than owners of just 360s... why? cause our consoles allow it.
the PS3 is far from it's peak and you know that while the same thing can't be said for the 360 so i'm just eager for the future... a lot of things happening and will still happen, the PS3 will be experiencing new highs in the coming months and years.. honestly, after Halo3 i don't think the 360 has another explosion left in it (no pun intended).
and because of Blu Ray things will only get better... the PS3 is far from the point of stagnation.

Now it will be downgraded for the 360 because little Billie just has to have all the exclusives and just throws his money at developers to get games for his console and while on the surface it looks like they are winning, Microsoft's gaming division is so far in the whole that they can't even climb out. Meanwhile while people say that Sony is loosing the race they are making more money than any of the three because they have the PS3 PSP and the PS2 and they are all selling. 2. No Hard Drive on every console, and proprietary at that.
I don't know what the hell MS was thinking, but like I've been saying "pretty soon the 360's limitations will become apparent and the PS3 will still have a long way to go before reaching its limits. The proof is in the pudding. I wonder hoe bad Rockstar had to shrink the city for GTA IV so that it would fit on one disc, I mean they would have to because it would really sucked if you had to insert another disc every time you moved from one part of the city to another! M$ really messed up with their decision to go with DVD 9 and no HDD. The only choice they got now is to install games to the HDD and no all their costumers own an HDD and if they do they would probably have to pretty much empty it all out just to do a partial install of one game. The 360 premium comes with a 20G HDD and out that 20 only about 13.5 are available to the user, so say goodbye to most of your downloads and demos and trailers. Pathetic!

how are blurays the same size as a dvd and cd? unless you mean the SAME size as in a couple of inches then yea sure why not. Bluray 25-100 gb(depending on layers) DVD 4.7-9 gb CD 600mb-700mb. I do not see in anyway possible a similarity in size???

Actually you're half right. Blu-Ray is up to 200GB in lab testing but as far as retail goes, it's up to 50 GB. Still pretty amazing that they can get up to 200GB on a single disc. I would've never imagined it. HD-DVD maxes out at 30GB and DVD is at a lowly 9 GB, and that's the fromate that Microsoft chose to use for their version of a "Next Gen" console.
