According to the Dallas Business Journal, 3D Realms has confirmed that Duke Nukem Forever will be released by this year and that it will be available not only on the PC but also on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

However, website Shacknews contacted 3D Realms which in turn  pointed out that it didn't give any concrete details on the game's launch and platforms.

Currently, we're waiting for 3D Realms to release a follow-up statement regarding the status and release of Duke Nukem Forever. The way we see it, we've been waiting to get our hands on this game ever since it was first announced years ago. What's a few more months of waiting? When 3D Realms is ready to spill the beans, they will do so and there should be much rejoicing among the gaming community.
