E3 2008 is just about done, but before that, there's a few more bullets left in its clip. One good example of that is Heavy Rain by French-based devs Quantic Dream. The game is a PlayStation 3 exclusive and it was shown to a crowd with one little catch. The catch is that there's an NDA in effect that means those who saw what was there to be seen can't talk about it. Well, at least not on mass media channels. TwitterBerry reported that the Heavy Rain demo "wowed the crowd" and they left a little hint by adding "we can't say more other than if you liked Indigo Prophecy, you'll 'love' this." Pretty intriguing stuff, eh? Quantic Dream has had a good reputation with games like Omikron and Fahrenheit through the years, and we're optimistic they can deliver, if not surpass those nice titles in Heavy Rain. » Better than Indigo Prophecy?
In terms of story, Fahrenheit (indigo prophecy) is one of the best games I have played in my life. So, if they claim that this is better than that then I will only say Wow... Can't wait to see some detail...

» Why the hell...
Would there be an NDA at a business trade show where you want people looking at and talking about your products ? I don't get it. If someone could explain the logic underlying the decision, it would be helpful.
Other than that, been looking forward to this title since the tech demo.

» Hype
People love to speculate, the more secretive you are the more speculation there should be. And you know how exaggerated games can get.

» I believe graphics are better than your average titles this year
I've seen some past footages, minus the sometimes awkwardness of the female lead character (?), the graphics are impressive. It's like better than all the games that are out already. I just hope they can improve and consolidate upon that so when it's released, it surprises consumers even more.

» Oh man,
I love Fahrenheit. I have played it through like 8 times in total and i've got it both for PC and PS2. And the comment "we can't say more other than if you liked Indigo Prophecy, you'll 'love' this." really got me stoked.
I hope that the story will be a really long one cuz it's not very often you can play games as good as Quantic Dream's.
