THQ has announced that Relic Entertainment's Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, a new action RPG set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe will be unveiled at their exhibit booth during next week's Electronic Entertainment Expo.

THQ is still saving most of the details for E3, but their press release mentioned that players will be able to control individual units "throughout a narrative-driven story campaign and in wide-scale online battles".

Relic is currently developing the game from the ground up for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 home video game consoles.
