E3 Update: Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots to be the grand finale of the series, says Kojima

The game is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month -- and while I've been on the series for 20 years, this game will be the grand finale for the series. The story of Snake will end and this will be my last take on this series. All the mysteries, plotlines, and other story points will be revealed. I'm putting everything I have into MGS4 and today I brought it with me. What we're showing you isn't a trailer, it's the game. |

Finally they confirmed it, its exclusive, its staying on the ps3. And the fight scene between Vamp and Raiden was sooo amazing!

when those blades came out of Raiden's heels and he started stabbing Vamp in the chest with them my jaw went through the floor and into the basement.

That blade in his foot was the one the Vamp thought he stabbed Raiden in the foot with but it actually went between the toes on his tabi shoes and he picked it up with his feet but yeah it was brutal I agree

The Metal Gear series hasn't been for 20 years!!!! It's been since 1996!!!!! Does he mean as his 20th anniversery making games? Contra which is the first game he worked on is from around 20 years ago...

It's the finale for Snake's story, maybe there'll be other MGS games, but probably not with Hideo's influence. Who knows?

All Kojima said is that it's the end of the SOLID series. Metal Gear can spawn other series too.

halo looks way better hen this game ploose killzone put together!! and if you looks at the video you will see that both kilzone and MGs4 choppes. but the halo video played smooth!!!

It's kind of funny that you take the effort to even lay your fingers on your keyboard considering the following facts:
1) You think a real-time game run on a 360 looks better than a CGI trailer, which probably took months to render on hundreds of computers.
2)Your grammar doesn't give your opinions any general acceptance either.
3) "Choppes" is not a word in the English language.
