CIA black ops agent (and Enrique Iglesias look-alike) Rico Rodriguez is set to wreak havoc once again with more action-packed stunts and chases in the upcoming sequel Just Cause 2 from Eidos Interactive.

Developed by Avalanche Studios, the game takes Rodriguez out of South America and into the South East Asian island of Panau. The sequel will feature more death-defying stunts as Rodriguez tackles an improved air, land, and sea stunt system including parachute and grappling hook sequences, as well as ultra-realistic weather effects.

Just Cause 2 also features new vehicles that players can use to pull off the different action stunts featured in the game. Alex Price, Brand Manager of Eidos, had this to say about the game:

Remember everything you loved about Just Cause, then take it to the next level: vehicles, stunts, weapons, freedom, grappling hook, action, everything. The game world is even more incredible in Just Cause 2 and Rico has done a bit of growing up, so expect quite a few new surprises up his sleeves.

The game is set to be released this year for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. In the meantime, check out some of the action-packed stunt scenes in some of screenshots we were able to nab from the game.

 » Please NO!

Just Cause was the worst game I have ever played. I am not kidding. I'm not just talking about the gameplay, game design, graphics, story, or voice acting; no. The Game was unplayable thanks to the dozens of glitches.

The only Reason I bought this game is because my last name is Rico and I thought it would be funny. It wasn't. It was however, the worst gaming experience I have ever had in my life and a waste of my money.
