PlayStation 3 - Image 1From the 30 titles supposed to be available at the European and Australian PlayStation 3 launch, five will not make it. Count 'em folks: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent, F.E.A.R., The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, NBA 2k7 and Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom won't be making an appearance at the event.

And granted that Gran Turismo HD should be available at launch, four out of eight PlayStation Network games won't be available come launch day either. As reported (at least for the UK), title releases will be delayed slightly offset from the launch starting from a full week. The dates of the five games' availability are as follows:

  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent: March 30
  • NBA 2k7: April 6
  • F.E.A.R.: April 20
  • Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom: April 27
  • The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion: April 27
Alongside Gran Turismo HD, Blast Factor, Lemmings and Tekken 5 will be reaching the European and Australian PSN, although flOw, Super Rub a Dub, Go! Sudoku, Go! Puzzle and GripShift will be delayed.

Just like i posted elsewhere, figures, ubisoft games aren't going to make it. They can't ever make a PS3 launch, or even after a 5 month delay. RB6V is a perfect example, for PS3 and PSP. You won't see any Ubisoft games anytime soon. And since they are handling the Elder Scroll publishing, you won't see it anytime soon either. They've screw it up somehow.
I bet SC:DA gets pushed back also, but gets released for everyone else. Watch. They are the worst at making gaming for PS3.
