Metal Gear Solid 4 PlayStation 3 Premium Pack - Image 1With everyone in Japan and North America clamoring over the Metal Gear Solid 4 PlayStation 3 Premium Pack, it looks like European gamers won't be the only ones left out of the MGS console bundle craze. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe boss David Reeves recently confirmed that Europe will also be receiving the premiere hardware bundle.

Now for the bad news: the packaging shown by Reeves during the PlayStation Day event earlier depicted a plain old black PS3 console unit instead of the "Gunmetal Grey" special edition that other regions will be receiving. While this may sound like a half-baked offer compared to the U.S. and Japan counterparts, at least gamers can enjoy the pre-packaged copy of the game from the get go.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will have a worldwide launch this June 12 and will be a PS3 exclusive release. For more PlayStation Day updates and information, keep yourselves posted to this spot.
