Looks like the problems that plagued Fable II's Limited Collector's Edition didn't stop it from becoming a best seller. The game debuted on top spot in the UK, with Far Cry II having to settle for second best.

Fable II marks the first Microsoft title to reach first place on the UK charts since Halo 3's launch. It's also beating the sales record of the original Fable game by 4 to 1.

UK gamers doesn't seem to like survival-horror games though - Dead Space only debuted at 6th place. Here's the top ten games in the UK for the week of October 25:
