We already know that Jake Gyllenhaal will be playing Prince Dastan in the movie adaptation of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.
We now have our first look at the first still shot straight from the
movie, which isn't from the film roll of paparazzi stalking the actor
on the set. This one's official, ladies (and gents).
"I'm tired of taking myself so seriously," said Jake Gyllenhaal about his role, where he also performed his own Sands of Time stunts, that we know to include wall-scaling, sword-fighting, and high-jumping all over the place. "It's nice when a stuntman turns to you and is like, 'Actors don't normally do this.'" More on the Prince of Persia movie: |

Or never played the game or something. The pic looks perfect. The lighting isn't so good, but the costume looks great and he looks quite a bit like the Prince. If they stay true to the great story and fill it with all the amazing stunts the Prince can do this may be a great video game movie
