The last time we reported on a gamer jumping the gun on a title that was yet to be released to retail, the story ended tragically with the overly eager fan facing the wrath of a banhammer. But when it's a dev studio employee - no less than a VP at that - that decides to rub it in everybody's face that he's got an early bird experience of the title, well, it's a different story altogether.

Over at the Epic Games forums, Epic Games' VP Mark Rein (sort of) tattletaled on his experience playing the Unreal Tournament 3  PlayStation 3 port:

I was playing the PS3 build for a few hours tonight and it is really, really fantastic. Amazingly smooth and solid. I think you PS3 users are in for a huge treat with UT3.
