Sony hit the goldmine with the Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 bundle, and they know it. Maybe that's why they've announced not one, not two, not three, but a staggering FOUR new PS3 bundles, if rumors circulating the intarwebs are to be believed. All exclusively for Europe.

This time around, the PS3 will be bundled with the following titles:

• Folklore
• Motorstorm
• Formula One Championship Edition
• GT5: Prologue

All of these will be coming complete with SIXAXIS controller. We're assuming this line-up are for the 40GB PS3, since the MotorStorm bundle for the 80GB PS3 has been officially discontinued just some two weeks back.

If this turns out to be true, then you can expect it to arrive on June 13, for the price of € 59.99 (US$ 93). We suggest to keep it posted here for more news on this issue. We'll be sure to get back right to you.

*UPDATE*: Just to clear things up, these bundles will only contain a copy of the game plus the SIXAXIS controller, and will not include the actual PlayStation 3 console. These new bundles make for a subtle method to phase out the aging SIXAXIS controller for the new and improved DualShock 3.

The DualShock 3 controller already debuted in North America last April and has already made its rounds in several promotional packs distributed by Sony (like the MGS4 PS3 bundle). There's been no confirmed release date for the European release of the DualShock 3, although it has already made its presence known in the region.
