As if there were any doubts about it, the UK indeed loves its football. With the recent release of FIFA 09 across all major platforms, the latest Chart Track sales figures have experienced an upheaval. Ole! Setting a record, FIFA 09 shoots straight to the top of the All Formats Chart as a debuting entry, toppling Star Wars: The Force Unleashed from first place.

Analyst Jesse Divnich gives another two cents to the holiday predictions pile. Like last time, he predicts doom and gloom for the PlayStation 3 this Christmas season, saying that as great as Resistance 2 and LittleBigPlanet are, they just can't beat the appeal of a cheap Xbox 360. Can't wait for TGS, eh? Square Enix was kind enough to release their TGS trailer for The Last Remnant a few days early. Needless to say, it's damn epic. And the video isn't some "meh" teaser either - it's four-friccin'-minutes long! Woot! The trailer is packed with absolutely everything you can find in an RPG - including Ryu's dragon punch! ..err, wait... what?

Remember the announcement that the Xbox 360 will get exclusive downloadable content for Tomb Raider: Underworld? If you're a PS3 gamer, don't count on it being a timed exclusive. Eidos has confirmed that the DLC will not - repeat, not  - appear on other consoles. What's more, the demo planned for the game this month is also an Xbox 360 exclusive.

Looks like Almighty Zeus was left out of the party - man, he'll probably go ballistic again once he finds out he doesn't have his own Sackboy costume. Not like his son, of course. As you may know, one of the LittleBigPlanet pre-order freebies is the Kratos costume. Over at GameStop, they're apparently giving away more than just the Ghost of Sparta.
