When id Software promised us that Enemy Territory: Quake Wars was going to be more than just guns, ammo and mayhem, they weren't kidding. This exciting new FPS prospect is being touted as a thinking man's shooter wherein brutal tactics must be devised to offset enemy defenses.

In this trailer, you'll be walked through by the devs on some of the basic aspects of Strogg behavior. You'll come to understand that Quake Wars is a game that's won and lost depending on offensives and counters. With some strategy, troop coordination and a decent aim, plowing through alien hordes should be a snap.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is set for release on the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 and the PC later this year. It's one of the season's most awaited projects and is sure to be a favorite in this region. We'll update you for more news about this bombshell in progress.

 » Lookimg good already

I have been beta testing since the first beta. Now at beta 2 I have to say its grown on me.

Also just from beta 1 to beta 2 they have already improved it greatly. Still some work needed but its lookin really good. I'm a quake veteran and although this is pretty much completely different than any other in the franchise its a hell of a lot of fun. At first coming from playing bazmod(one hit kill rail), it was a bit of a switch, but I've fully adjusted and now its one of my favorite games.
