Did you know that the amusing, eccentric Noby Noby Boy on the PS3 was developed on the Xbox 360? Yep, that's true. This was what creator Keita Takahashi revealed at the GDC this week. So what is it doing on the PSN then? Because, he said, he doesn't like seeing people playing games on the handheld in the subway.

Hold it, his statements are just about to get more interesting (as always). "Maybe it's not such a good thing if a game sells a lot of copies. So we put it on the PS3 as a download only title so it wouldn't sell as many." Okay, he was joshing on that one.

But seriously: it was the PS3 controllers that won him over. He said he liked how the analogue sticks on the PS3 are aligned horizontally, unlike the asymmetrical design on the Xbox 360 controller. And he's even got images to prove it!

Anyhow, despite it being originally developed in the Xbox 360, there doesn't seem to be any chance of it heading over there. "Well, this game is not being sold well, so I can't support Xbox at all."

I don't know how serious he was about that one.
