The Agency - Image 1The Agency generated a lot of buzz when we first heard about it some two years ago. And then for some odd reason, there was silence. That's about to change now as SOE execs break the quiet with statements from the GDC.

Said Hal Milton, "We don't want to keep having hype sessions just showing movies and crap. We need to make the game and not just keep promoting it." Yeah, that's right. You gotta keep people interested, but an over-extended tease can only work for so much. Actual updates will definitely be great.

Meanwhile, John Smedley, SOE's prez, has revealed that they already have a release window for The Agency, and in fact, for DC Universe Online as well. 2010 is the is the targeted window, as revealed in his keynote speech, "An industry perspective on how new online games will reach the masses."

Hopefully now that we have a target date we can actually see more updates rolling out, and then ultimately, the game itself.
