Joe 'Los' Cartieri has supplied us with scans from the April 2006 issue of Game Informer on a feature of article of God of War 2. Although it clearly says the platform is Playstation 2 on one of the pages, it's slated for release in Q1 2007 so it could very well be headed for the Playstation 3 as well.

For those of you who aren't familiar with one of the greatest ever created for the PS2, God of War is a violent action game where players take the role of the heroic Kratos on his quest to defeat Ares, the God of War. Kratos could perform a variety of moves where he would rip his enemies in half, slice them in half, and even perform some intense acrobatic maneuvers. The boss battles are especially epic because you need to discover each boss's weak point in order to succeed.

These scans are of a much higher quality than the other versions floating around the net, so be sure to check these out if you want to get the full scoop on God of War 2. Thanks Joe 'Los' Cartieri!
