Killzone 2 developer Guerrilla Games amended Sony UK's announcement yesterday regarding the September release date of the game. It was later mentioned that Killzone 2 still has no specific date when it will actually go live.

Seb Downie, QA Manager of Guerrilla Games posted a reply on the PlayStation forums and had this to say about any further announcements regarding their upcoming title: "Sorry folks, as before, please take any release dates, or months with a grain of salt. If we haven't announced it, it is not gospel".

We guess this means that everyone will just have to sit tight once again before we can get our hands on more FPS goodness. Regardless, we'll be sure to keep our ears open for more updates regarding the actual release date of the Killzone 2.
