Has the Guitar Hero series reached its peak? Is the market saturation too high? Activision doesn't care. In fact, they're still churning out Guitar Hero games, the latest of which is Guitar Hero: Metallica.
Game Informer landed a first look at the game recently, and the forumites at Score Hero were quick to post the details found in the GI article. Here's what's reportedly been confirmed so far:

I heard a while back that it's coming out Jan. 2009. No lie. Well, it might be a lie since it was a rumor, but I'm sure it was some high-profile source that I read it from.
Seems plausible though. Why would it get delayed or anything? Only makes some sense.

Not to be a smartass, but why pay full price for this game just for some damn Queen songs? If you want that, just buy Rock Band 1 or 2 and download the Queen DLC. This game probably won't even have that many tracks from Queen. Probably not even enough to fill up a whole tier.
