Hail to the Chimp - Image 1Gamecock has announced that Hail to the Chimp, the political party game from Wideload, has just been pushed out of its May release window. Instead of May 27, the game is now slated for release sometime in mid-June.

According to Joystiq, Gamecock said that the delay will be used for polishing up the game. No further details were revealed, though. It may also be used as a chance to generate a bit of buzz for it.

The game itself is kind of like George Orwell's Animal Farm. Players will compete in mini-games to determine who gets to be crowned king of the animal kingdom. Hail to the Chimp will be available on both Xbox 360 and PS3.
