FACT is Microsoft done it first on the consoles so the others can only copy Oh and for your information the Commodore Amiga 1000 was multitasking when the PC software had to be loaded in from dos (Windows cured that one) and YEARS before the NET started

I really do have a xbox360 and ps3 and both are great machine, equal in power (sorry sony). Resistance is a great game, with long game play. GOW is a great game too but is so damn short. I don't know why everyone is bashing the PS3 it is a good system and blu ray movie look great.

The PS3's version is coming out a full year after the 360's version. I would hope it could be better in some aspects. It has nothing to do with hardware as both machines are not maxed out yet. Is there any other games you think will be better?

Bluray disks have a lot more space and therefor game developers are taking full advantage of that. So you keep them for as long as you want to. Just promise me that they will kill the current game disk limit 360 owners have.

$ony's publisher funded online can't catch up ever unless they start charging for the service. Wouldn't be a big deal to sony, since they have broken about half the promises they made so far.

I have all three systems (PS3, 360, Wii)
Each have there own strengths:
I believe it will be a closer race this console war than the last but alot of people are writing off Sony from the start and i think they are way off for a number of reasons.
1)Easily put starting this year and going into next Sony has the strongest exclusive line up. (DMC3, Metal Gear, Final Fantasy XIII, Heavenly Sword, Killzone) Also Sony has taken a stronger 1st party support than Microsoft.
2)Even though Xbox has a stronger community online, I have had better connections on PS3 with 40 people (Resistance) than with 8 people on Live(Gears). Sony has talked about adding MySpace like pages and other great community like enchancements which i think will bring a more community feel.
3)Xbox is not a big foriegn seller and to win the war you have to have strong support worldwide. Xbox just will not sell well in places like japan b/c they refuse to buy American product no matter how good they are.
4)Sony has been more prompt to add features and fix problems unlike Microsoft. Alot of people are still having overheating and disk read errors on their 360s. Its their second year, they got to get it together. Sony in 4 months has fixed many major complaints (Download, Rumble, Backwards Compatability). Just seems Microsoft just doesnt care enough to win.
5)Oh and on the copying issue Xbox started by "copying" (analog stick, dvd, rumble, etc) It has to start somewhere... without "copying" the industry would not be where it is.
I believe it will be close but i believe Sony just wants it more than the rest. Because this war will be close we will see alot of innovation and creative come out of it all and all and all the gamer will win.
I have all three systems (PS3, 360, Wii)
Each have there own strengths:
I believe it will be a closer race this console war than the last but alot of people are writing off Sony from the start and i think they are way off for a number of reasons.
1)Easily put starting this year and going into next Sony has the strongest exclusive line up. (DMC3, Metal Gear, Final Fantasy XIII, Heavenly Sword, Killzone) Also Sony has taken a stronger 1st party support than Microsoft.

Background: PS3 did not copy the 360. The 360 copied the PSP in both MP3, Background, and any other things I forgot to put.
PS3: 20 on 20 matches > desolated 4v4's.
360: I will now be buying my FOURTH one in just 7 MONTHS.
360 #1: Over-heated.
#2: Over-heated.
#3: No backwards compatibility AT ALL.
Wii: I have it, and am THOROUGHLY dissapointed. What is this, the 90's?! I have to put BATTERIES in my Wiimote. You would think at this day and age all controllers are rechargable.
PS3: Internet browser, MP3's (with equalizers, nice add-on), movies (Blu-Ray), Inter-connectivity with PSP (Transfer your files to PS3, vice-versa), Backwards compatible on PS1 AND 2, giving me over 3000 games to play right off the bat. All of this was released THE DAY IT CAME OUT. I can enjoy ALL benefits of Online right off the bat, except for priced things (PS Store)
360: Nice hard drive, which to this day, I ONLY USE FOR SAVES, NOTHING MORE. I have to pay so I can enjoy FULL benefits of live. BARELY backwards compatible. Halo 2 on 360 isn't gonna last forever, contrary to myth.
Wii: I'm not even gonna bother with this one. I wasted 250$. Zelda (only good title out so far) = not worth it.
