Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway - Image 1There's some bad news and good news for World War II shooter fans waiting for the release of Gearbox and Ubisoft's Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway (PC, Xbox 360, PS3): the bad news is that the game will forgo its scheduled holiday release 'til next year. But the good news? The beta for Hell's Highway is close at hand.

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway was supposed to be out just in time for the holidays, but a Gearbox representative said that they could not promise any specific dates with regards to the game's release. Shortly after, however, Ubisoft commented and said that the game will be out sometime between January to March next year.

But on the brighter side, the developers are about to reach a crucial stage. "We're rapidly approaching Beta status on Hell's Highway," said Ubisoft's representative. We just couldn't wait ourselves, not when we're talking about a game as good as the Brothers in Arms franchise.
