First!! Saying that seems to be popular..
You're one of many other d1psh1ts to say, "look at me, and I use a computer mommy!"
Saying something within the context of the blog or go sh1t your pants somewhere else.
Actualy you're NOT first since your pathetic post is now at the bottom where it belongs thanks to the sort.
haha, you all jealous cause you not first!!!
......
Why would Sony want to change their controller after a couple million systems have been sold. I would think that everyone who already has a system would be furious about them adding something to the new controllers.
to add Rumble to the control +)
:D
I wonder what kind of extra features they're planning on putting besides rumble.
They are going to steal my precious Wii controller..
Why would I be furious to see a NEW ACCESSORY? That would just be stupid of me.
If Sony decides to package this new accessory with new units then so what? New accessories come out all the time. If you want it then drive your rear end down to the store and pay for it. That's how it works and that's how it's supposed to work.
Pretty simple stuff here.
a controller is only a peripheral. i would be pissed if they changed the console like MS did with the elite had i bought a 360 previously (and no changed the HDD size doesn't count and neither does removing an insignificant, redundant piece of hardware like the EE chip)
my friend said he bought another sixaxis controller from best buy and bought the best buy warranty for it...... he said he could return it if the new rumble controllers come out soon....anyone confirm if this is correct? i mean... i dont doubt my friend...but i owuld like to know.
I wants this as sonn as possible as I need another controller but want this one.
Am I the only one to find this rather stupid? I mean for gods sake! The current SIXAXIS is worth around 50€ and they're gonna release a new version, people who already spent 50€ on one will have to shell out some more just to buy another, improved controler? What the heck is Sony thinking!?
well, it may not be the best solution but it has been done before, and unlike attempts before (like by SEGA on ..virtually every console they ever made I guess) it was a success.
the PS1 started life as a pure digital pad and analogue was added later, then another model (the one most today think was the standard and only one ever) came along adding (like in this case a bit ironically) rumble.
then again, how it will work depends on what it is, if they add something that games will not work without more than just a cool thing that could be used as an option it could be a problem unless the replace every single controller out there.
Heia Sverige!
why wouldn't they charge you for an improved controller?
If they add rumble....you wont see any more 360 fanboys bragging about PS3 not having rumble!
You're stupid. If you don't want the new Sony controller then don't buy it and stick to the current controller. They're not forcing you to get the new controller. Geez dumbasses on this site.
Before attacking people, read up on stuff.
As Harry Potthead mentioned, it's not like Sony hasn't done it in the past.
And some games started supporting mostly just Analogue control. "They're not forcing you to get the new controller" - While that may be true, Sony, is not forcing no one.. The game devs might come to do it though, we all know how the latest PS2 games don't work on certain Third-Party controlers, due to security checks and the sort. Aren't we really getting locked out now, of all times?
PS - Calling people idiots, without proving you're not one, doesn't make you better at all.
If you can afford a PS3, there's no reason to complain about buying controllers for it. I recall the original xbox doing the same thing for the s-type controller or w/e the ***** that thing is called.
yup, Xbox ppl were screwed over when they bot their original massive box that came with a massive cont4roller and then they released a slimmed down controller shortly later.
i think that this is a great idea, i dont know why people are complaining, its just a damn controller, dish out the money if u have to its not expensive.
and plus sony hasnt screwed over its fans as bad as Microsoft has soo many times before, and recently with the Xbox 360 Elite.
"Xbox ppl were screwed over when they bot their original massive box that came with a massive cont4roller and then they released a slimmed down controller shortly later."
I preferred the big old XBox controller for most genres (it suited my hands better), and only used the smaller controller for certain types of games.
"and plus sony hasnt screwed over its fans as bad as Microsoft has soo many times before"
Depends on how you define it. To some gamers, Sony has "screwed overs it's fans" far more times and much worse than MS. To some gamers, MS are worse than Sony in this respect. Some think they're about the same, and to others...well they conuldn't care less. ;)
Look at this issue about adding rumble to the PS3 controller. To some gamers, it's a welcome addition to the controller and they can't wait to buy it, but to other gamers, this is yet antoher example of being screwed over by Sony.
IMO, they are about even, but even then, I don't consider either company 'screws' it's fans, since there are usually good reasons behind the decisions they make (and yes, making money is a good reason too). :)
I agree completely. Unless a new Controller/peripheral that is mandatory for every new game that comes out, I wouldn't say that Sony/Microsoft are/were being unreasonable. After all, it isn't as if the old Controller were suddenly being rendered obsolete.
Both companies are in this for money and if adding a new Controller/peripheral attracts more Consumers while not rendering the old Controller obsolete, I say "the more the merrier".
For me the PS3 controllers is most crapy of all, because is the same design that PS1 had, they added to the PS2 and the same on PS3, give a f....g brake sony, the same desing for a controller for 12 years...you have no imagination...so if they release another(whole) controller it would be a good thing
they're controller is perfect, why fix it?
So where's your super original controller design? Don't you have any imagination? that's what i though, so stfu and gtfo.
with logic like this you must have failed every essay you ever wrote.
Im sorry its not that they have no imagination its just that changing the look of it would piss everyone off. Its a basic and simple design they kept with. I mean most people don't like the xbox controller cause it doesn't feel right.
It shows you that Sony doesn't need to take a different approach to making a controller if it works b4 and they can expand in the technology in it or features.
You post is stupid and will just bring in flame wars.
One reason they didn't go with the boomerang shape... it was too different.
Why would they want to change the design, when millions of people are so used to the controller already. Gay ass
why change the controller if it has had a great design since it was released 12 years ago?
dumb*****
I can't wait for this, i hope there are some good features.
First off, the PS controller is not perfect.
Second of all...I hope Sony is careful not to put an IR pointer on the controller because then we have another stolen Wii feature fiasco. They should just add rumble.
Of course some people who spent 50 dollars on controllers would be mad, but the people who want rumble outnumber them. I spent $50 on a new controller. I'll probably buy two more when one with rumble comes out.
The controller is, at least, near perfect. It's copied by almost everybody. You can actually buy an adapter for the 360 that lets you use a ps2 controller. Everybody copies the damn thing. Every gamepad for a pc, and x-box. Pelican actually made an x-box controller with the black and white buttons at the L1 and R1 positions.
I don't believe sony stole anything from nintendo. Sony and Game developers wouldn't have had time before the systems release to go back and add motion sensing. It would have been to much work and too much money. Unless Sony had known about nintendo's controller before nintendo announced what it was capable of. I don't think nintendo would of let that kind of information get out.
Of course we all know how The Evil Sony has trained spies that infiltrate all their competition for the sole purpose of stealing technology. Duh.
to "the unbiased one" why would they add infrared? when bluetooth is perfect?
I HOPE ITS THE DILDOKONTROLLER PLXPLXPLXPLXPLXPLXPLXPLXPLXPLXPLXPLXPLXPLXPLX
btw.
lmao

for the love of god stop spamming, its becoming a real pain, every time i see some type of post about surveys and S.H.I.T QJ stop these spams seriously.
I guess Immersion attacked Sony's weak point for massive damage.
they is gonna add a third analog stick 0_0
