Legendary action hero Indiana Jones is making a return to the spotlight in the upcoming Indiana Jones game for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The game, which carries a working title of Indiana Jones 2007, is an epic, original story set in 1939, and is the first from LucasArts with direction from George Lucas himself.Indiana Jones 2007 features the revolutionary new euphoria technology from NaturalMotion, which delivers never-before-seen life-like action and awareness to every character in real time - so you'll never see the same thing twice. Combine that with LucasArts' completely interactive Hot Set environments, which makes every setting in Indiana Jones 2007 open-ended and completely destructible in a way that only next-generation consoles can deliver, and you have a title that could finally make up for Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade: The Action Game. For a taste of what's to come, click on the download link below to download the Indiana Jones 2007 trailer shown at the Leipzig Games Convention. Also check out the new piece of Indy art above. Enjoy, folks. Download: [Indiana Jones 2007 Leipzig Trailer] |

To fuel our excitement more about Indiana Jones 2007 (still the game's working name), we're providing you with the latest artwork we've recently come across.
Players will follow the legendary hero's adventures, mishaps and missions set all over the world. The game takes place during Indy's prime, 1939, which is just a year after "Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade." Players can use several weapons like a revolver, a whip, and even fists to take on enemies. Hopefully we can see in the game exactly what we saw in the "Indiana Jones" movies (and more), especially now that LucasArts, NaturalMotion, and Industrial Light & Magic are working on the game. Here now are the promised artwork of Indiana Jones 2007 - enjoy!

LucasArts entertainment have released some information and screenshots on their upcoming next-generation release for the Xbox360 and PS3: Indiana Jones 2007. Now, this may not be the most glamorous of names, but this is a working title, so it'll be changed to something a bit more exotic closer to the release date.
Set in 1939, this original Indy story - the first from LucasArts with direction from George Lucas - puts you in the fedora of the legendary adventure hero as he unravels the clues found in ancient artifacts spanning the globe. From San Francisco's Chinatown to the world's most sacred ground, Indy must use his fists, whip and trusty revolver to fight through ruthless opposition and piece together a mystery of biblical proportions. Indiana Jones 2007 will feature cutting-edge euphoria technology from NaturalMotion, which is supposed to deliver never-before-seen lifelike action and awareness to every character in real time - so you'll never see the same thing twice. For the first time ever, euphoria enables interactive characters to move, act and even think like actual human beings, adapting their behavior on the fly and resulting in a different payoff every single time. Here's some more information for all you Indy fans out there:

LucasArts announced that Indiana Jones’ nitty-gritty expedition for Xbox 360 and PS3 will feature the euphoria behavioral-simulation engine from NaturalMotion Ltd. This industry first will enable Indiana Jones and his nemesis “to move, act and even think like actual human beings without the limitations of traditional animation… resulting in a series of experiences and payoffs that will never be the same twice.” Furthermore, LucasArts’ hypesquad said euphoria technology means the action isn’t scripted – it’s simulated – making gameplay totally unpredictable.“A.I. (that's Artificial Intelligence not Artificial Idol) drives character behaviors so that there’s a different payoff every time. We’ve been working with NaturalMotion since 2004 to help bring their groundbreaking technology to games, and there’s no better character to demonstrate it than Indiana Jones.” LucasArts will demonstrate euphoria in action on May 10-12 at the E3 Expo. Aaaaaah! Why do these people torture us so? |
