Co-op gameplay, 60-player competitive game mode, sweet graphics, great sound. No doubt about it, Resistance 2 is right up there with other great shooters. However, existing problems with the game proved too much of a deal-breaker for some people. This bit of news might win them over again: MyResistance.net has gotten an announcement from Insomniac Games that a new patch will be released "very shortly."

So how short is "very shortly"? The announcement from Insomniac was merely to address fan clamor, but gives no specifics on what'll be fixed in the upcoming patch and when exactly it'll come. IG employee Bryan reveals that they are addressing the technical flaws of the game, and that they're "always working to improve the online experience."
