Katamari fans, heads up. Namco Bandai has announced that Katamari Forever will be rolling out by September, so it won't be long until you can roll the whole world into great big mess of clutter once again.

No, those brownies you just ate were completely clean. Kidding. At first it was like taking a nose dive back into the days of preschool TV shows, and then you realize it's just Katamari. Kazuhito Udetsu, producer for Namco Bandai Games, took the time to introduce Yuu Miyake, the sound director for Katamari Forever, on the PS Blog. In their tow is the music for the latest Katamari game on the PS3, and they sure have a lot -- good ones, too. Miyake describes what they went through in formulating the perfect soundtrack for the game franchise, and shares a couple of new gameplay videos as well. Check them out after the jump.

With a bit of a title rename, we've got a new trailer for Katamari Forever on the PS3. This is the English localization of Japan's Katamari Damacy Tribute, and as previously discussed, it will be cel-shaded - err, full 1080p HD cel-shaded, rather! - but that's not all.

As you'll find out in the trailer, the cel-shaded visual presentation is actually just one of many "tone filters" you can view the game in.
