Killzone 2 to have extensive multiplayer features - Image 1Upcoming video game Killzone 2 has been under development for almost three years now and we've all seen its progress through the years. Considering the success of the PS2 iteration as well as the one on the PlayStation Portable, it is needless to say that it has a lot of expectations to meet.

One of those is its multiplayer features. Sony Computer Entertainment and developer Guerrilla Games have been very secretive on this one but the first confirmation came from the game's very own director Mathijs De Jonge.

He explained, "Co-op we're not talking about at the moment. We will have extensive multiplayer features. We're saving that for later". The confirmation is indeed very welcome but we have to say that it was rather expected.

When you really think about it, FPS games of today are not going to survive without that exciting multiplayer component. There's still no definite release date as of now but Sony mentioned before that it should come out during the first half of 2008.

We just hope Killzone 2 doesn't get delayed because of on-going debates concerning violence and "irresponsible video games". It should be remembered that BBC reviewed the game earlier this month and commented that it might be the next target because of its high level of realism.

 » ghost rcon2 BEWARE!

Ok this has nothign to do w/ Killzone but i wanted to let people know somethign before buying GRAW2 for PS3. I cant do reviews obviosly because im not a company, but i would like to say that if people want to get GRAW2 for having fun in multiplayer just like the demo you played, think again! I REPEAT DO NOT BUY graw2 for MULTIPLAYER. I would give this game a 7 out of 10 for singleplayer, but for MP its simply awful! THe graphics are downright HORRIBLE they are toned down so bad that at some levels, some parts of the game like the cross com or the ground looked like some N64 version, and the gameplay mechanics, controls, framerate are worth a letter F. It is that bad! I waited so long to have this for ps3, i thought it would be as good as the demo, but in MP you cant get behind walls, you cant even lie down as gunner, and the game plays like total S%HIT! i shoulda got rainbow six...

Thanks but seriously, you're an idiot. We don't care.

As for this...I dont play games that dont have multiplayer. Gears for instance, i dont even play the campaign really, just online.

Do you wish you could have a free ps3 well all you need to do is go to http://www.YourPS34free.com/index.php?ref=4049743. Here all you have to do is sign up and do one referral. Once that is completed just refer people and wait for your ps3 in that mail.

Step 1: Go to http://www.YourPS34free.com/index.php?ref=4049743

Step 2: Sign up and choose an account type (Referral is the easiest and the best)

Step 3: Complete just 1 offer (like Blockbuster or Stamps.com) and refer up to 14 people to do the same (eBay! Do what I did, copy my ad). Its cool because although you have to use your credit card, you don't have to pay a single penny, just don't forget, if you sign up for stamps.com, don't forget to cancel the account before 30 days of subscription, YOU PAY $0..... (for stamps install the program and print one stamp to make sure it goes through.)

If Canadian go and sign up for the zip.ca one page two of most popular. Both are free REMEMBER TO CANCEL BEFORE IT EXPIRES LIKE AFTER IT IS CONFERMED

Step 4: Receive your PS3 for FREE!!!!!!!!!!(Even The Shipping Is Free!!!)

For proof that this is for real, check out this site: http://www.trainn.org/reviews.php

Glad they're having online multiplayer and all but ... I want co-op. Charging through the campaigns are a whole lot cooler when you've got a mate with you.

 » Really now?

Im sure it will be decent, but seriously, every hyped up PS3 game has ended up flopping.

Just yesterday, IGN rated Lair at a 4.9

ROFL.

 » Eh,

Games like Resistance, Motorstorm and Ninja gaiden Sigma? Those were all hyped to death, yet many people (myself included) enjoy them all greatly. They haven't branded it the HAlo Killer or anything stupid, just a very realistic, intense FPS with a dark feel, and if I know Guerrilla, that's what we'll get.
