Reports are coming in that Sony has started sending out invite codes for the Killzone 2 closed beta. If you're a PlayStation Underground member, better check your email quick. You may already have been invited.

What do you do when you want to join the beta for Killzone 2 but cannot because as it turns out, it's not open to the public? Well, wait for the next beta phase and hope it's gonna be public this time, that's what. Good news is, it doesn't look like you'll have to hope that much.

Reports have cropped up that the beta for Guerilla Games' Killzone 2 is shareable, contrary to the belief that it is closed. Apparently, there's a supposed work-around to the system.

Heads up European gamers, looks like the first wave of beta invites for Killzone 2 are being sent out. Better check your emails if you got one.

PS3Life.nl also received a tip-off that the closed beta was launched today - though I'm not sure if the Google translation from Dutch was accurate. Still, they did post a couple of pictures from what looks like a beta, if not the beta. Check them out after the link.

Listen up, grunts. It looks like we may finally have a date for the Killzone 2 multiplayer beta. We're still waiting for a solid official announcement from Sony and Guerrilla, but this should probably prove enough to whet the appetites of the hardcore Killzone 2 fans out there.

If you heard or saw that "leaked" Killzone 2 footage supposedly from the beta, then you better hear what Guerilla Games has to say about it. No, it's not from a public beta, it's from the ongoing private one exclusive for employees only. And yes, the "leaker" was obviously no team-player and was just more interested in "boosting his ego". Ouch.
