With only a couple of days left to mark off everyone's calendar before the highly anticipated release of Konami's and Kojima Productions' Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, we were able to get our hands on some new visual assets showing off some of the highly detailed images from the game's previously released cinematic trailer.

Considering the amount of cutscenes it's said to contain, you can easily picture MGS4 more like a movie rather than an actual video game. With that said, the game's stunning visuals speak for themselves in this stunning conclusion to Snake's saga. While the images themselves may be nothing that we haven't already seen before, it doesn't hurt to have a few high quality screenshots that we can always turn into nifty avatars or wallpapers and use at our discretion.

In any case, MGS4 is scheduled for a world-wide release this June 12 and will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3. While we're all running down the clock until the game's release, why not enjoy the host of screenshots we have from the game below. Enjoy!
