Typically, the first thing people want to check out when they hear about a new shooting game is the quality of the visuals. Once that's out of the way, gameplay and storylines are usually scrutinized. Soundtracks aren't usually in the main list of considerations when judging how good a game is, but killer tunes do make more of a difference than most people would care to admit.

The developers of Haze apparently realize that and they're obviously investing significant resources on that aspect of their project. As announced October of last year, to give the mood of their depressed, futuristic shooter more attitude, they've gone out on a limb and wrangled hard rockers Korn to do the job.

In this video, you'll see the band's frontman Jonathan Davis talking about his inspirations for composing the tracks they contributed to Haze. You can tell that Jonathan's a gamer through and through, and that should translate into some quality riffs when the time comes to play the game in full. Without more ado, here's the clip. Enjoy!
