Sorry to burst your bubble, guys, but it looks like your dreams of having Kratos exclusively in the PS3 version of Namoc Bandai's SoulCalibur IV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) will remain just that. We know, this is a total buzzkill.

Hopes were raised and toes and fingers were crossed tight when rumors circulated the web just last week regarding the appearance of Kratos in the aforementioned title. And really, it did seem plausible. After all, the SC franchise has had history of featuring other characters, such as Link on the GameCube version, and Heihachi for its PS2 iteration.

All that is sadly dashed away now, though, with the confirmation  being aired on 1Up's podcast for July 27. No Kratos, guys. However, it's still not too much of a wishful thinking for us to wish we'd see him appear as a downloadable content, but for now, we'll have to settle with that NO.

 » No really?

Forget Soul Calibur. If I wanted to play a game where I can't use all of the characters because of the system I play on.

No, forget that, I wouldn't and I don't want to play such a game.

 » Kratos

is already busy raging war against Zeus with the Titans :P
It would be kinda messed up if at the scene at the end of GoW2 some staff member dudes working on SC4 appeared outta thin air and asked Kratos politely if he'd want to join SC4 in the fight, when he's right about ready to go pwn Zeus :X
