LairThings are getting clearer as the PlayStation 3 Launch comes close. Just now, two major things are officially confirmed for the dragon-laden launch title, Lair. First things first, when it comes to support of the new functionality built into Sony's PlayStation 3 controller, massive assault game Warhawk is no longer alone.

Recent rumors proved to be correct as reported by Japanese video game magazine, Famitsu. Accordingly, the development team of Factor 5 have been working and sweating hard to make their game compatible with the new controller. No further details were divulged but it is clear that the dragon will be directly controlled by the tilt sensors.

Moreover, the battle aspect of the game was also expanded on. Aside from the gripping air battles, Lair now features ground-based combats as well. This is reminiscent though of Square Enix's Drakengard. A thought comes to mind now: are you to dismount your dragon during ground battles very much like Drakengard's? Or you remain aboard your dragon and probably use a close-range fire for your enemies?

With the Tokyo Game Show just a couple of weeks from now, all questions are sure to be answered. And all our curiosity, satisfied.

 » Cool.

Hope it not like warhawk... sound that way in a way tho, lol. I hope the ground battles are in first person... if not 3rd is good, lol.

Hopefully the graphics for ground battles, rides, models, buildings, and everything dont look cartoony and gay like warhawk, lol.

This game could be outstanding if the ground battles are like have rides like catapults, spears or whatever, lol, boats, ships, orcs, or just warriors, but there gotta be warriors for the ground lol, hopefully wizs, lol, and elfs, and trolls, and al lthat kind of stuff, lol.

Hope the game is like project offset or lotrs in first or 3rd person, lol. Most likey... it just gonna be dragons and 3rd person warriors on the ground trying to fight the dragons or warriors vs. warrios, lol.

And maybe sea battles with sea monsters or sea dragons and boats and ships, lol.

But if there are any sea battles or just in a huge map
i bet there will be at least boats and ships, lol.
