LittleBigPlanet's got LittleBigBaddies - Image 1LittleBigPlanet just got a little bit bigger. And a little bit badder too. 1Up points out that in the latest EGM issue, an interview with Media Molecule senior producer Pete Wilson reveals that there are going to be more obstacles than you think.

Wilson confirms that LittleBigPlanet will indeed have enemies and that they'd have have a fundamental role in the gameplay. He didn't specify how important exactly, but he expounds about enemies, saying that:

They will range from little robots that simply roam from left to right to spectacularly complex beasts that pose quite a challenge. We've recently built this big, huge giant, and, as with other objects in the game, he's composed entirely of materials that you wouldn't expect. He's quite intimidating, and shows the possibility of what designers can create.

Huge giant? I'm actually imagining God of War type bosses - that'd so pwn. Co-op gameplay, remember? You've got your LitteBigAvatars and LittleBigFriends, all intent on knocking down some ginormous titan that's run amok in your little community... Sweet!
