LittleBigPlanet Media Molecuke - Image 1

Those keeping tabs on news about Sony and Media Molecule's LittleBigPlanet may remember reading about the disappointing news concerning Media Molecule not opening the beta testing phase to the public. But as it turns out, there is still a chance for the public to get their hands on the LittleBigPlanet beta...well, if they pray hard enough.

LittleBigPlanet's technical director, Alex Evans, labeled the announcement of the public beta not happening as mere "miscommunication." Apparently, the public beta of the game is possible, but there are some kinks to work out on. "It’s a question of how much, how big," Evans said when posed with the question about the possibility of a public beta.

Of course, this hardly means that we're indeed going to get a LittleBigPlanet public beta, but it's infinitely better than a flat out "NO."

 » 1st Post again..

Yay!

LittleBigPlanet - looks like a great title, but maybe a little immature? oh well just going from the ingame videos recently - looks like it would be fun for the first 5 minutes - but then get abit boring..

Didn't you know Immature games are all the rage these days?!

 » LBP isn't immature

its the game concept that makes people want to play it, not the fact that you play with puppets.

 » hmm....

"inmature" game but very well done like mario can last forever... but something is sure, this game is more than awesome in creating levels but I want to see beyond that right know.

» I played it this weekend

I was at Rock on the Range in Columbus, OH this weekend and there was a playable LBP display.

The game is FUN. And I can guarantee all ages will enjoy it. It's not just the gameplay, it's the ability to create so many things and your character can interact with just about any part of the levels. If you're a gamer, you'll appreciate it, and if you arent a hardcore gamer it's still very accessible.

Best thing I didnt know about it till I played it was that despite being a platformer, it allowed for multiple depths within the Z-axis.
