Gameswank recently managed to uncover some new details about the FIFA 08, the latest version of the FIFA soccer game, through some scans from the French version of "PlayStation Magazine".

Of use to our French readers, perhaps, but more of eye candy for our American and European readers, we're sure. That is, if you like sweaty men running around after a ball. What about more information, you ask? Well, Gameswank managed to uncover the roster for the European versions of the game, which we're quoting below:

Ronaldinho will join 2006 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner Miroslav Klose of Werder Bremen on packaging in Germany, rising star Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid on the cover in Spain, attacking midfielder and captain of the Austrian national team Andreas Ivanschitz of Panathinaikos FC on the cover in Austria, and Swiss national Tranquillo Barnetta of Bayer Leverkusen on front packaging in Switzerland. Midfielder Florent Malouda of Olympique Lyonnais and winger Frank Ribery of Olympique Marseille will be paired with Ronaldinho on covers in France.

Yes, folks. Ronaldinho is the cover boy everywhere. Expect news of Ronaldinho teaming up with other players when they announce the UK and American covers next month. In the meantime, ogle at these scans.

 » Why??

Because stupid people from the USA call it soccer. I've been to a lot of places and USA is the only country that call it soccer. They call football to a game were a bunch of blacks go running and try to catch a ball (cool right??? Not)
