During a recent PS Nation podcast, Media Molecule founder, Mark Healey revealed a couple of interesting tidbits on the upcoming customizable platformer LittleBigPlanet for the PlayStation 3.One of the things he discussed was the inclusion of a light-hearted story mode for players who aren't too keen on creating their own levels. Healey assured everyone that there will be more than enough in-game content to go around and that there's also enough levels "that will satisfy a lot of different type of gamers". We previously mentioned that LittleBigPlanet may go beyond its normally cute countenance due to its "sandlot customization" nature and introduce some rather risque content not entirely wholesome for the younger gaming crowd. However, Healey explained that they already have fail safes to get around such R-rated content. Here's a direct quote from him on the subject matter: First of all, I can tell you that you can make private levels. You can publish a level and make it locked and give away keys to friends. But, I personally wouldn't put risky content in there. We have a post-grievance system. The way that works is ... pretty much at any point in the game, you can press a button and effectively take a screenshot. That screenshot knows lots of information of where that screenshot came from, what players were there, etc. You can send that screenshot to the powers that be ... If you want to make a private level, give keys to people you trust. You can do that, I suppose. And what's a game without some real-life merchandise to boost its sales. Healey also confirmed their plans of rolling out Sackboy plushies to complement the virtual stars of the game. With cuteness literally pouring out of their threaded little pores, he says that everyone will be sure want one.
